Access Arrangments

The Law and Main Libraries are open to Bond staff and students with valid swipe card access.
Opening hours are varied to usual semester arrangements.

Find a computer

Use these maps to find computers that are available for use now. Hover over a computer to see the specialised software installed, or view the complete software list for student computers.

Some computers have been temporarily removed to facilitate physical distancing. These are indicated as yellow on the maps.

The Law Library and Multimedia Learning Centre maps are currently not available.

Computers are available in the Libraries and the Multimedia Learning Centre for student use. Computers are replaced on a regular schedule to ensure students have access to high-quality equipment.

Study booths are equipped with computers connected to LCD screens for groups to collaborate on work. Study rooms are equipped with either computers, LCD screens or projectors with laptop connections.

The Bloomberg software is installed on three computers on Level 2 of the Main Library. If you would like to use Bloomberg, just talk to the staff at the Library desk to borrow a keyboard and find out where the computers are located. The three PC terminals have priority seating for Bloomberg software users.

Need training for Bloomberg Professional Service platform?

Get up to speed quickly, and save yourself valuable study time by attending the Introduction to Bloomberg training sessions managed by the Bond Business School. Places are limited at select times during the semester.

The Digital Media Stations, consisting of 12 high end PCs and Mac Pros are located in the Multimedia Learning Centre. The workstations are for the use of digital media applications including, video editing, image manipulation, digital design, document design, 3D modelling and animation, architectural design and game/apps development.

Students and staff can connect to the Wi-Fi network in the Libraries and Multimedia Learning Centre using their personal laptops, smartphones or tablets.

Visitors from participating institutions can connect their personal devices to the eduroam network to access the Internet and their home institution’s online library resources.

The Library cannot provide access to the Internet to other visitors.


Charging your devices

Power outlets are located in table tops or study carrels for charging devices. Additionally the Law and Main Libraries each have a chargebar with cables to suit most phones and tablets. Chargebars are located:

  • Main Library – Level 2
  • Multimedia Learning Centre

Ask at the service desk in the Law Library to borrow a cable.

Do not leave your devices unattended.


Equipment for loan

  • Adapters & Cables - a variety of adapters and cables  can be borrowed to connect personal devices to equipment in the Libraries and Multimedia Learning Centre.
  • Headphones
  • Presentation Clickers - devices for advancing powerpoint or other presentation slides
  • Calculators
