Nicole Gibson - Love Out Loud

May 31, 2019

A remarkable young alumna was honoured at Bond's 2019 Alumni Awards Dinner earlier this month. This year’s event was particularly special, as it fell during the week of Bond's 30th Anniversary celebrations.

Nicole Gibson graduated from Bond with a Bachelor of Business Communication and she has since grown an impressive CV: CEO/Founder of The Rogue and Rouge Foundation, CEO of Startup Apprentice and Australian Commissioner for Mental Health. However, Nicole’s passion for improving lives through mental health intervention started before she graduated. At 18 she started a Not-for-Profit, at 20 she was a finalist for Young Australian of the Year and at 21 was listed as one of the Financial Review's top 100 most influential women.

At the Alumni Awards Dinner, Nicole shared that time and time again, people have described her as "an unstoppable messenger of love and human potential." Her message has taken her around Australia and the globe where she has no doubt touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people through her work in communities, her speaking engagements and her book.

Borrow her book "Love Out Loud" from the Main Library and check out her inspiring TEDx talk "Why Love Is the Ultimate Life Hack".
