Library Search is moving

May 1, 2019

Library Search is moving to a new address as we upgrade to a different version.

What you should know:

  1. You will need to update any browser bookmarks you have for Library Search. The new location is

  2. If you use Endnote or Zotero desktop you will need to change the openURL settings so that you can continue to find full text via the Library's subscriptions. The new base URL for this is:
The Library is updating this in Refworks and Endnote Web for you.
  3. Your saved records have been copied to the new Library Search, however if you had any saved searches these could not be copied. If you have a chance to log in before Tuesday 8th May, you can take a look in "My Library Card" and see if there are any you would like to rebuild in the new interface. We checked to see if any emails had recently been sent from the system for saved search updates but there were none. So we expect that this does not impact many of you.
  4. The new Library Search consolidates saved records with "My Collection" records from your Resource Lists. To align these features the terminology has been changed in Library Search so "My Collection" is now used consistently in both places. You will now be able to save records in Library Search and then access them from My Collection in your resource list.
While we see this as a positive move, there is a known issue with records added in Resource Lists. When they are displayed in Library Search the title, author and other metadata does not display correctly. A fix for this is expected in the July software release. We apologise for the inconvenience in the interim. Refreshing the page may help.
  5. From Tuesday 8th of May you will no longer be able to log in to the old Library Search.
