A new way to suggest titles for the Library collection

July 31, 2018

The Library has always welcomed suggestions from Bond students and staff for new resources to add to the collection.
There is now a new way to send us your suggestions -  submit a request directly from Library Search.

If you find a resource in Library Search which we do not hold, sign in to see the request options. Purchase request option will not show for journals and articles - use the document delivery request option for these.

If you know a specific book, or dvd that you think should be in the collection, go to Citation Search and enter the details. If we don't hold it already, the purchase request option will appear when you are signed in.

As a general guide:

  • Items published more than 12 months ago will generally not be purchased -  please use the document delivery request option instead.
  • You will usually have an initial response to your request within 1 business day.

You can track what is happening with your suggestion by looking at "My Library" account in Library Search.

And of course you can still discuss with your Faculty Librarian resources for your learning, teaching or research needs.
