Welcome to International Open Access Week 2020

October 19, 2020

We launch International Open Access Week at Bond University with an enlightening audio interview with researcher Associate Professor Magnolia Cardona who works at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine.

Over the course of her medical and academic career Magnolia has worked with international aid agencies in many countries to deliver better health services to disadvantaged people and since 2014 her focus has turned to research which leads to improving health care for older patients specifically concentrating on their end of life preferences and treatments.

Magnolia is a passionate Open Access advocate who shares her knowledge and research findings with others through quality OA academic journals and publicly open evidence-based news providers such as The Conversation. As well as being an author of valuable Open Access research publications Magnolia is also a meticulous and dedicated peer reviewer of journal articles and with her uncompromising ethical and publishing standards she makes a substantial contribution to Open Access scholarship.

Read more about Magnolia’s research on her Pure Profile where you’ll also find her high percentage of OA publications that are being found, read and shared by readers from around the globe.
