NAIDOC Week 2019

July 8, 2019

From 7-14 July, we’re celebrating NAIDOC week, which is an annual event held each July and focusses on the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

This year, the theme is Voice. Treaty. Truth. This theme illustrates the desire that Aboriginal and Torres Strait people have always held, for an enhanced decision-making role in Australia’s democracy.
