The Winner Of The Poster Display, Daisy Vanstone pictured with her supervisor Richard Hicks

Last Friday the 4th Year Psychology Students Poster Display was held in the Library Annex with psychology students and their supervisors in attendance. As always the competition was tough and the topics inspiring, however, the standout was Daisy Vanstone who was selected as the winner, with her poster titled 'Transitioning to University: Examining Relationships between Perfectionism, Coping Styles, and Test Anxiety'. This is a particularly fitting topic which highlights that performance pressure, combined with the nature of examinations can result in excessive text anxiety, high attrition rates and burnout among students.

Congratulations to all the students for their hard work. The poster display is one of their last pieces of assessment before they submit their final thesis and graduate.

From a Library perspective I have really enjoyed watching this group grow and it is pretty amazing seeing the end result displayed in this format. We are looking forward to Semester 181 and see what our next cohort of 4th year students produce!
