Law Library refurbishment commences.
The Library team went into action last week preparing level 2 of the Law Library for the refurbishment.
297 shelves of books and other resources were moved to make way for the construction workers to occupy the space. This mammoth effort was taken on by at least seven team members who likely had a few sore muscles to rest on the weekend.
During the refurbishment project the Law Library is operating on Level 3 of the Law Faculty Building (Building 4) providing:
• Student assistance
• Reserve books
• General book collection
• Individual study desks
• Group study rooms
• Computers & Wifi
• Printers and photocopiers
Plans are underway to soon provide additional study space on Level 1 of the Legal Skills Building (Building 4a) including:
• Silent study rooms
• Quiet study rooms
• Casual study room
• Computer Lab & Wifi
The project is expected to run through until January 2018 as part of the larger Law building refurbishment.
Floor plans and more detailed information will be posted to the Library website in coming weeks.
