The Library's research goal is to enhance the University’s standing and influence through scholarly research support. We strive to do that by:
- Supporting scholarship through all stages of the research cycle
- Adopting strategic changes that align with national and international research policy initiatives
- Heightening awareness of available Library resources and support for researchers through collaboration
The Faculty Librarians are your first point of contact for any conversations about how the Library can help with your research.
Services
Citation databases
The citation databases, Scopus and Web of Science, are available via the Electronic Resources list. These databases enable a user to conduct citation searches, and to access bibliometric data such as citation counts, h-indexes, and journal impact.
Discipline-specific databases and journal collections
The Library's electronic resources also include many key databases for searching the literature in specific disciplines. Examples are PsycINFO, Ovid and Medline.
Theses
Hosted via ProQuest, Dissertations & Theses: Full Text includes over 2 million citations from around the world, primarily from North America and Europe.

Two reference management tools available to Bond University students and staff are supported by the Library with classes and workshops, as well as online guides.

Open access article processing charges
Funds administered by the Library are available to support the publication of research in open access journals. An article processing charge is paid by the author, the author’s institution or research funder so that a paper can be made freely and openly available without the requirement for the reader to pay for access, and without the restriction of an embargo period. Read the University's Open Access Policy for details and contact your Faculty Research Development Manager to apply.
Research repository
Library Services is working with Research Services on the Bond University Research Portal to ensure high-quality metadata for research publications is imported and maintained.
Digital Collections
If you have other types of works that you would like to make openly accessible, Library Services may be able to help by including them in the Library's Digital Collections.

Bond University has a Qualtrics site licence when enables all staff and students to create an account using their Bond email address to produce and distribute online surveys. All members of the Bond University community must obtain appropriate ethics approval for research with or about people or their data.
