Library Services welcomes two new staff members in key positions

Karen Joc joined the Library in mid-February in the role of Senior Manager, Library Academic Services, taking responsibility for frontline customer services, liaison and research support services, and learning and teaching support services. In her role, Karen leads and coordinates the work of the Customer Service team and the Library Academic Services team of Faculty Librarians and Librarians.

Karen brings a wealth of experience from her previous positions in universities in Australia and the Middle East in Bahrain, Dubai and Qatar.

Tiffany Mitchell has recently been appointed to the position of Faculty Librarian for the Bond Business School. Tiffany’s role is to work closely with students and staff in the Bond Business School to ensure the provision of high quality information resources, and to deliver library support services. As Faculty Librarian, Tiffany plays a vital role in promoting Library Services to the academic community.

Tiffany has worked for several years in various Librarian and Library Assistant roles at Bond. Tiffany’s previous career in commerce will be an advantage in her role as the Faculty Librarian for Business.
