The University is both a producer and consumer of copyright materials. Bond University's Copyright Compliance Policy accords with Australian law.
The Copyright Act gives creators of original works the exclusive right to reproduce, publish, communicate, arrange and adapt their material; and to control the way it is used by other people.
Copyright compliance training

The Library has launched the Copyright Compliance Training Course tailored for Bond educators and researchers on the HR Learning & Development site in iLearn.
The Course covers the use of copyright works for educational purposes including Fair Dealing exceptions, the University's Statutory Licences, Resource Lists and iLearn, Creative Commons licences and using AV material in multi-modal classes.
All educators are encouraged to take this informative and instructional course which contains interactive quizzes and a final test.
To access the course, go to iLearn > Communities > Bond HR Learning & Development > Copyright Compliance
Copyright Library Guides
Two guides are available to assist Bond University students and staff to maximise the creation and use of materials while meeting their copyright obligations. Advice on other types of licensing and re-use of content is available to staff and students.
