Balnaves Foundation

Dr Balnaves has played a key leadership role in the media industry for over 45 years. He previously held the position of Executive Chairman of Southern Star Group Limited which he founded. He was the Chairman of Ardent Leisure Group, one of Australia's most successful owners and operators of premium leisure assets.
In 2006, Dr Balnaves established The Balnaves Foundation, a philanthropic fund that aims to create a better Australia through education, medicine, and the arts with a focus on young people, the disadvantaged and Indigenous communities.
In 2008, The Balnaves Foundation generously funded the development of the award-winning Balnaves Foundation Multimedia Learning Centre, a technology rich educational environment which exemplifies the student experience at Bond.
